McPherson County Conservation District offers services to make implementing conservation practices easier for you. Take a look at the list of services below, and contact the district if you have any questions or would like to work with the district.

From planning to planting, we are here all steps of the way to create a design you have in mind.

Seed Sales and Planting
We are a Milborn Seeds Provider that can assist in seed mix selection and we have a drill to seed the grasses or cover crops for you.
Tillage
Site preparation is a critical step to establishing a successful shelter belt. If you do not have means of doing your own site prep, have us till your site.
Educational Opportunities
The District realizes the value of sharing information that is impactful to rural and urban community members and students. Each year in the spring, we go into a classroom and teach students about different ways to practice conservation. If you are interested in having us come in to your classroom, please contact the district.

The District is open to other educational activities as well including presenting to 4-H or other youth organizations. The District also hosts various workshops and events throughout the year to help engage producers in practicing regenerative and sustainable agricultural practices.
